Ted Pella Inc PELCO X-TREME SEM Storage Box and holder for up to 18 of the 12.7mm SEM pin mounts
Very strong and rugged clear polycarbonate box to store standard pin mounts with 3.2mm (1/8"). This box is watertight, crushproof and dustproof. The strong hinges, locking clasps and soft silicone O-ring seal makes this an ideal transport, shipping and storage box for SEM samples on pin mounts. The holder insert is numbered 1-18 and accommodates all types of pin mounts form 6.4 to 50mm diameter.

A formvar coated grid, stabilized with evaporated carbon film. This type of coating is excellent for specimen support, especially for ultra thin sections. Coated grids are optically checked followed by batch testing in the electron microscope. Packed in grid storage box. NOTE: All film is laid on the shiny side of the grid. Formvar is 15 to 20 nm thick with a 1 nm carbon coating.

Ted Pella Inc PELCO Tabs™, Carbon Conductive Tabs, 6mm OD
The simplicity of application and smooth, clean surfaces of PELCO Tabs™ Carbon Conductive Tabs are a significant improvement compared to many of the other common adhesives that have been used in SEM mounting. Both tab sides have a thick conductive adhesive (conductive inner tab is 35µm and the adhesive is 45µm on each side for a total thickness of 125µm [5 mils]) with a liner on both sides, a transparent liner and white liner respectively. They are ready for immediate use. The top protective liner does not have to be removed until the sample is ready to be mounted. This reduces possible contamination. Outgassing is negligible.
Ted Pella Inc Ultrathin Carbon Film on Lacey Carbon Support Film, 300 mesh, Gold, 25/pk
Pure carbon support films with no Formvar backing. This new product has an even thinner carbon film which is mounted on a Lacey carbon film. The carbon support layer lying over the holes is less than 3nm in thickness and is the thinnest support film available. It is particularly useful for high resolution microscopy of low contrast particles and is also ideal for use with the Energy Filtering TEM.

Pen-Vac is a new improved way to handle small, flat surface objects. Beside the electronics assembly industry, jewelers, model builders etc. Pen-Vac is ideal for EM work as well. It can be used to handle grids, pick up stubs, align membranes, work with glass slides, cover slips and much more. Holds up to one minute.
Pen-Vac™ comes with a variety of straight and angle vacuum probes complete with a vacuum cap. The stainless steel needle portion of the probes are one-half inch long. Lifts up to 50 grams.
